Nothing uploaded

Sign a PDF without uploading it

Draw or type your signature and place it on a PDF in your browser. Your contract and signature stay on your device.

Open Sign PDFFree, no account, no watermark.

Signing a lease or an NDA online usually means uploading the contract, and your signature, to a service you know nothing about. For a quick signature you don’t need any of that.

Capy Files lets you draw, type or upload a signature and place it on any page, along with a date, text or ticks for checkboxes. Everything happens in your browser and the signed PDF downloads straight to you.

How it works

  1. 1

Open Sign PDF and add the document.

  2. 2

Questions

Is it really not uploaded?

Open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab and run the tool. No request carries your file. You can also turn off Wi-Fi after the page has loaded and it keeps working.

Is this a legally binding signature?

It places a picture of your signature on the page, like signing on paper. That is accepted for many everyday agreements, but some documents need a certificate-based or qualified signature. Check if you are unsure.

Is my signature saved?

Only if you turn on “Remember on this device”, and then only in this browser.
